BREAD UPUMA (SWEET)
The dish above is my favorite one right from my school days. It is easy to prepare too.
I am sure most of you would have had this when u were kids
It is usually prepared with white bread but instead I used the brown bread ,which also came out well, anyway its my favorite one :)
P.S. people who are in diet I dont think so you will like this dish
INGREDIENTS:
brown or white bread:3 slices
ghee: 4 to 5 tsp
sugar: 4 to 5 tsp
PREPARATION:
#cut the brown/white bread to small eatable sizes
#take a bowl add the bread pieces , ghee, and sugar and mix them in such a way that each piece is coated well with sugar and ghee
#add the above pieces to the hot thava and saute them well
#the sugar and ghee in the bread pieces will change the bread color to dark brown, at that stage remove it from the thava and enjoy the dish......
