ADAI

INGREDIENTS:
raw rice:3cup
toor dal:3/4cup
chana dal:1/2cup
green gram dal:1Tbsp
fenugreek:1/2 tsp
red chilies:10 to 12 in number
asafoetida:1/2 tsp
coconut:2Tbsp

FOR SEASONING:
Oil:2tsp
mustard:1tsp
curry leaves
onions if needed
PREPARATION:
#soak rice separately, mix all the dal and fenugreek and soak them separately
#soak them over night
#grind the rice first
#then add the dal and grind it
#along with dal add red chilies and asafoetida
#just before removing the batter from the grinder add coconut and salt
#Let the batter be more of semi-solid consistency.
#season the batter with curry leaves and onions
#heat a tava , pour a laddle full of batter onto the heated tava and spread like dosai
#enjoy with idly powder or chutney
