vegetarian recipes

DHAL (serving amount:3)

moong dhal(tamil:paasi paruppu):3/4cup
onion: 1/2 chopped (big size)
tomato:1 chopped
green chilies:2 (slit in the middle)
curry leaves
coriander leaves
turmeric powder
#pressure cook moong dhal along with turmeric powder
#meanwhile heat the kadai , add oil , add mustard
when splutters add jeera and curry leaves
#add the onions and saute it well
#add the chopped ginger, garlic
#add tomatoes along with onion and saute it well
#add the green chilies
#add one cup of water and salt
#when the tomatoes are soft in texture
add the cooked dhal
#close and cook it for 5 mins
#finally garnish with coriander
#enjoy with chappathi or paratha
